Located about halfway between Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA, and only a stone's throw from Hilton Head.  Shallow water sight fishing at its finest! The flats in and around Beaufort County are literally teeming with fly casting and light tackle opportunities. Whether it is sight casting to tailing reds, chasing giant cobia or casting into schools of jacks , ladyfish, Spanish mackerel or trout, the fish are here! With literally hundreds of miles of tide waters and grassy marshes to draw from, fishing possibilities are endless. Methods change on a seasonal basis, and this allows for many different sight fishing scenarios.

He has heavily fished South Carolina's Lowcountry from Charleston to Savannah and has incorporated his fly fishing experience of sixteen years to exclusively target saltwater species here in Beaufort, SC. Tuck targets redfish, seatrout, ladyfish, cobia, tarpon, and sheepshead on the fly as well as on light tackle from a 17' Scout Costa flats boat. Because of its unmatched excitement, sight fishing is his primary method of targeting most species. Press about Tuck
Capt. Richard Sykes
Captain Sykes is a native South Carolinian and an experienced outdoorsman who has fished the waters around Beaufort and Hilton Head for over 30 years. He began fishing as a child with his father and older brother. He likes to tell stories of going to Hilton Head before there was a bridge and paved roads. During his time in the Coast Guard, he fished the waters of Florida extensively. He has also spent time fly fishing the waters of Canada and Alaska. Richard enjoys fishing for all local species, but his favorite is fishing for redfish on the flats. He fishes from a 19' Action Craft flats boat.
